Please note - patients will be triaged by telephone in the first instance, and will be offered a time to attend the surgery, should this be appropriate.
GP appointments at Campbeltown Medical Practice can be booked up to two weeks in advance.
All appointments have a 10 minute allocation. Should you require a longer consultation please advise the receptionist at time of booking.
Appointments for GP’s can be booked by telephone or online here.
Telephone lines are open from:
08:30 – 17:30 (Monday - Thursday) and 08:00 – 17:00 (Friday)
GP appointments are available throughout the day from 08:40 – 17:00 (Monday - Thursday) and 08:40 – 16:40 on Friday.
Practice nurse appointments are available from 09:00 – 16:30 Monday - Friday.
Should you feel that a telephone consultation with your GP would suffice then please ask reception team and you will be given a time when the GP will call you back.
We do not operate a weekend surgery. Patients working away from home during the week can make a GP appointment by special arrangement.
Medical emergencies will always be dealt with as a priority.
Patients with chest pain or acute breathlessness should present immediately at A&E, Campbeltown Hospital. Should you be unable attend A&E you should dial 999 to avoid undue delay.

GP’s are unable to take calls during surgery. Patients can leave a message and the GP will normally return your call within one working day. Alternatively patients can call back either before or after surgery time when the GP may be available to take the call.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
